Who sang the opening song for the Colts/Saints Game on Thursday, September 6th? It was done during the opening credits - it was an attractive blonde who sang alternate words to the tune "I hate myself for loving you". Can you please give me the name - and if possible, post that opening sequence. The song as performed was great!

Dr Makkar - Your assertions sound like a sales pitch rather than medical fact. Overall, you neglect to mention one other benefit of the "boil-and-bite" mouthguard, which is concussion prevention. Especially in hockey, kids are taught at a young age that wearing the mouthguard has little to do with protection of the teeth (as you can still lose teeth with one on), but mainly protects against the concussive force of teeth rattling together to prevent brain injury.

Just thought someone posting with DOCTOR in their name should present the facts clearly...

You need to expose this to the world of sports:

IF ONLY THE SPORTS WORLD KNEW.............
It is amazing how athletes spend so much money and time in improving their performance , however when they insert their mouthguard during game day, their performance and strength immediately decreases by 20 to 30 percent!!

Athletes will buy the best sneakers, wear the best apparel , and even buy the best equipment to be the best they can be at their sport, all in the hopes to be the hero of their game.

Yes, the mouthguard has one good basic function, and that being to protect their teeth and surrounding soft tissues, and I agree that is extremely important, however we are so focused on this one function, that nobody took the time to see if the mouthguard effects the balance, endurance and strength of an athlete! Now, we have documentation and scientific evidence to prove that a boil and bite, and or a regular custom fitted mouthguard does effect their performance.

How could we have let this simple little device be ignored? Is it ignorance on our part, or were we just to focused on protecting the teeth , and not consider it's side effects?

Today everyone wears the same type of mouthguard, so for instance both opposing teams playing hockey are at the same disadvantage , because they do not know any different!

It is disturbing that something that is so inexpensive , can decrease the performance of an athlete!

However, today Dr. Anil Makkar of Truro , NS. is trying to show the world of sports , that there is a mouthguard that will increase the strength, endurance and performance of an athlete, and it is refereed to as the Pure Power Mouthguard(PPM).

If you wish to contact Dr. Makkar about this revolutionary product, you can contact him as follows:
