Hey Bret, it's ironic that you're complaining so much about the bad officiating, given that it was a terrible call 8 years ago that went your way and ended in Dallas backing into the Stanley Cup. I didn't hear any complaining from you back then! BTW, your father was twice the hockey player you ever were. See ya later Rangers.
I have to comment on the AWFUL announcers for the Sabres/Rangers game on May 6, 2007 - actually on the AWFUL announcers for ALL of the Buffalo Sabres games. It is appauling to see the favortism that is showed to ANY other team in the NHL except for Buffalo. The Buffalo Sabres have pulled off an incredible year with hardwork, dedication and a TEAM effort - it was NOT just LUCK. They won the President's Trophy - they must have been good enough to accomplish that much. Hopefully with the continued success of this TEAM they can raise the Stanley Cup to all those who doubted them throughout the year and especially the NBC announcers.
The Rangers / Sabres series is exceptional. Both teams are going at it like a 15 round boxing match. I do not understand why NBC would put such biased TV announcers on this series, which takes away from the action on the ice. They are so blatantly sided for the Rangerts it takes away from the game (I guess unless you are a Rangers fan). LIsten to the pitch and loudness when the Rangers do something versus Buffalo doing something (goal, save, hit, Kotalick's supposed elbow in game 6, period 2). There obvious NY bias was further communicated when they went on about Clements signing with the Yankees. Who cares ... this is hockey. Well, I hope the next round they are replaced or do a better job. Thank you for listening. Rick Zinter Delray Beach, FL
