I think that NBC needs to get its act together with some kind of cohesive commentary in between periods. Someone get into Hull and Ferraro's ear and tell them to knock it off.
Note to NBC: Are there other series going on? Educate those tuning in to other series. Maybe MENTION what other series are going on. This sounds like a high school radio production.
There is a sense of cheering against the #1 seed. Versus did it in the first round as well. The Sabres have the bullseye squarely on their chests.
The "cheering" though tends to be a bit tedious I agree. Would be nice to listen to the Sabres announcers, but I can't take the delay.
And now...for ten minutes of Ferraro whining about no goal.

If I was just watching my first NHL playoff game I would think according to Mike Emerick and Ed Olczyk that the Rangers were not just the favorites but they would be the team to cheer on. It would be one thing if you were watching the Rangers home network or any home teams home network to hear a biased opinion for the home team, but NBC is obviously routing for a particular team which I think is totally unethical. Does NBC bankroll the Rangers??? Contrary to popular belief there is life and above New York City where fans live in cities that cheer teams that are not the Rangers or Islanders. If we have to listen to NBC root for the Rangers than the fans should be able to choose which network we want to listen to during the payoffs. If this is NBC's attempt to market the NHL to the masses than shame on you....

SHOULDA BEEN A GOAL. The guy was stopping or he would have ran right over the goalie. His feet were turned before the puck ever got there and that is the proof that is in the pudding.

I TOTALLY AGREE with you that that was DISTINCTLY NO GOAL!!! The NHL MUST be consistent with its calls and, being from Vancouver, that is definitely NOT A GOAL!! The same thing happened to Vancouver's captain Marcus Naslund and it was NO GOAL for us and therefore it is a fair and just call!! Seems like people live in a biased fishbowl where you are and you have a bulls eye beside your name!!
Go Canucks Go! The Ducks maybe bigger, faster and stronger- but we have way more heart, team will and honour!! It will be physical match up and absolutely the one to watch!
